Terrapin & Co. started with Grand County, Colorado, where local owners were paying the big platforms more every year and getting less time back. We think AI can change that if it's set up by people who know the town.
Why a terrapin
Steady, at home where water meets land
A terrapin carries its home on its back, keeps a steady pace and lives where the water meets the land, which is a fair description of a lake town and the people who run businesses in one.
The name is also a nod to a certain Grateful Dead song. Small towns run on a little bit of music and a lot of work.
Our mark is one terrapin with a different shell for each company. The Terrapin & Co. shell is four plates around one center: rentals, restaurants, shops and services, held together.
